ICCF submits its guidance document on ‘Identification and Characterization’ for public comments

30th May 2022 – An Expert Working Group of the International Cooperation for Convergence of Technical Requirements for the Assessment of Feed Ingredients (ICCF), composed of experts drawn from the ICCF founding members has developed a new guidance document on ‘Identification and Characterization of feed ingredients’.

The ICCF Steering Committee adopted the draft Guidance Document and accompanying checklist for Public Consultation on the 29th of April 2022.

The Public Consultation on the Guidance Document ‘Identification and Characterization’ and accompanying Check list is now open for comments by interested stakeholders until 30th of June 2022. Stakeholders are invited to submit their comments, using the feedback documents available below.

The draft Guidance Document provides recommendations to applicants for relevant information on identifying and characterizing their feed ingredient necessary for its evaluation. It provides recommendations with respect to the different types of feed ingredients, as described in the published Guidance Document on ‘Manufacturing Process and Specifications’.
